We’ve put in place a range of safety protocols to give peace of mind and keep you COVID safe during your treatment at Audley Dental Solutions and continue to monitor and follow updated guidelines for healthcare environments.
Prior to your appointment with us we will contact you to discuss your current health status. We will ask you if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms include:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
You will be asked to complete a medical history form online via our secure Portal.
On arrival at the practice, please park in one of our designated parking spaces.
We are now warmly welcoming our patients back into the waiting room. Do not, however, enter the practice if you are exhibiting any signs of COVID-19.
We have been advised by our governing body The General Dental Council to continue to wear face masks unless medically exempt whilst on the premises, this applies to our Team, Patients and Visitors. Temperatures are no longer taken but our hand sanitising station remains for your use.
If you do not wish to wear a face mask please feel free to remain in your car until your allocated appointment time. When your Dentist is ready to see you one of our reception team will collect you and invite you into the practice. Face masks can be provided if you do not have one.
In-house we have invested in additional air exchange units and Virus killers to ensure air flow meets national recommendations and have dedicated hand sanitising stations in all surgeries and at entry and exit points.
Our staff have received their COVID vaccinations and go through regular daily checks to ensure they are healthy.
We have strict cross-infection control procedures which involve the wearing of Enhanced PPE and Fallow time where it is deemed necessary for certain procedures.
Your safety and that of our team are of paramount importance to us and we constantly strive to ensure your visit is both pleasant and ultimately safe.
We thank you for your continued help and understanding.
